If you are interested in the kind of music, imagery and written material encountered here, and would find it interesting to follow my ongoing and often unpredictable creative efforts, then consider becoming a Patron. As a Patron you will be supporting this composer/media artist and you will receive various benefits.

Here are some of the benefits that Patrons of The Jagged Rooms can enjoy:

  • MUSIC--Regular updates of music from among the following categories as work is made available. These offerings will include complete works and movements of works as well as excerpts:
  • 1. New and older songs, many of which are being recorded for the first time.
  • 2. Experimental electronic/computer music.
  • 3. Solo classical guitar music.
  • 4. Orchestral and mixed ensemble works.
  • 5. Miscellaneous solo instrumental works.
  • 6. MIDI realizations.

  • IMAGERY-- This will include items from the following areas:
  • 1. Exhibits of still photos [There are 28 exhibits currently in the TJR/Imagery area.].
  • 2. Video works [Currently I am working on Faust, J. D. ] I have already posted, and I will continue to post video stills from this work.
  • 3. Imagery to be presented photo journal-style
  • MISCELLANEA-- I frequently post "odds and ends" here--sometimes as often as every day. The postings include favorite quotes, journal excerpts, images, music, etc. Look for the Miscellanea icon on the main portal entry page.

  • WRITINGS--Various writings from among the following areas:
  • 1. Pages from my music sketchbooks and notes.
  • 2. Journal entries.
  • 3. Music notation excerpts and score samples from various works.
  • 4. My memoir-like collection of vignettes entitled A Potpourri of Strangeness.
  • CURRENT UPDATES-- Subscribers can be informed of the latest changes to The Jagged Rooms by clicking on the icon -- Current Updates -- found on the main portal entry page.
  • ARCHIVES-- Older materials are kept here for a period of time determined by website server space. Materials may be rotated back into the main exhibit areas or the Archives occasionally.
  • LOFT--Think of this as an artist's work area, where ideas are developed and you can see what is going on with current projects. You can access the Loft from a link that is found at the bottom of most TJR pages.

There are many sites where the emphasis is upon quantity. I believe in producing quality work that will have an impact upon my Patrons and be memorable as well as entertaining. With that said it is my plan to post new updates at the end of each month (circa the 30th) and hopefully, more often. [Please note: Many months you may see updates to one particular category. If you become a Patron please make sure that your interest is not confined to one area alone.]
