Residencies:
If you are an educational institution, a performing group or simply a group with an educational and artistic purpose, consider the possibility of having Richard Jordan Smoot come in for a residency period. Terms are reasonable and negotiable, and program possibilities can include creative projects with students or the coaching of performers for the presentation of a Smoot composition. A lecture/Presentation is another option or Master Classes. Perhaps your group would like to consider commissioning a new work and a residency in conjunction with the world premiere.
Dr. Smoot has carried out residencies with various groups including the University of Michigan/Flint, Charleston Southern University, and the Elinor Coleman Dance Ensemble in New York City.
